Banco de España

2025

For the first-ever Open Doors event at the Banco de España in Madrid, I worked alongside Acerca Comunicacion and specially Jesús García, director and head of the video department, to create a film capturing the essence of this historic occasion.

The video followed the public as they explored the institution’s iconic architecture, private art collection, and never-before-seen pieces, including original works by Goya and the official photograph of the Spanish monarchs. Through a blend of cinematic visuals and documentary rhythm, the piece celebrated heritage, transparency, and the unique connection between culture and the public.

As a bonus, I’m sharing the first cut of the video, a more cinematic and atmospheric version created as a work-in-progress for client review before the final edit. Although this version didn’t fully align with the client’s vision, it remains one of my favorite interpretations — emphasizing mood, composition, and emotional tone over institutional rhythm.

Discovering poetry within architecture and human experience, even in the most formal or structured settings.
